“Good performing bike. Comfort is good for all journeys. Fuel range is good, I get around 190 miles per tank (17.5 litres).
The only downside is for my height (5'8), I can not get the original screen into a good position. An after market screen for me was a must.”
“I've ridden over 10,000 miles in all conditions, solo back roads, commuting, two up riding, two up long distance touring with luggage and the bike hasn't let me down or disappointed in any way. Everything you could want for a sports tourer. If I would change anything it would be more power when accelerating hard to get the juices flowing. I guess that's the touring bit in the engine.”
“Just did 5050 miles touring lots of European countries over five weeks with my cousin and are both very satisfied with the comfort and reliability of the BMW RS 1200 sport, the pro shift gearbox is fantastic and since the 6000 mile service in John Clark Dundee where a new clutch slave cylinder was fitted as a recall the gearbox is so much better at up and down shifts, I would recommend this bike to anyone.”
