“A good round town bike, fuel economy is great once a month fill up.
Comfortable, lightweight, easy to handle. Downside frame paint is poor I have had lots powder coating done, two left & right handle bar switches
Front disc X 1, master cylinder, brake caliper, and 1 crank shaft caused by water leaking in through poorly fitting petrol cap.as old as what the bike is parts are still available. A top speed of about 50 mph faster downhill, going into the wind or uphill you will be up and down the gearbox, which is nice and easy and very positive. My bike is well serviced looked after and kept in a garage when not in use. I look forward to many more miles on my AJS.”
“I WASN'T LOOKING TO BUY AN AJS I WAS BROWSING 125CC MOTORBIKE'S IN STOPPIES MOTORBIKE SHOWROOM IN WALLINGTON. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT NEWLY BUILT AJS AS I THOUGHT THEY STOPPED PRODUCING. BUT HERE WAS A CRACKING CONDITION AJS 125 ON SHOW WHICH I HASTILY ASKED IF I COULD TAKE FOR A RIDE. WOW I WAS TAKEN STRAIGHT AWAT WITH HOW COMFORTABLE RIDING IT WAS. I BOUGHT IT WHEN I WENT BACK AND SHOP OWNER WAS SAYING HOW THE OWNER HAD REALLY LOOKED AFTER IT WHICH I COULD TELL. SINCE THEN HAVE FOUND OUT 2 AJS WORKERS WANTED TO KEEP THE NAME GOING AND WENT TO CHINA WITH THEIR PLANS AND FOUND A COMPANY TO BUILD. THE REST IS HISTORY AND I AM THE HAPPIEST MAN TO BE THE PROUD OWNER OF AJS JS 125-E.”
