“This is a good looking bike harking back to 50's 60's and 70's. It's a light weight naked ride full of old school styling and charm. The twin-barreled termignoni exhaust sounds throaty and quite loud. Riding style is upright and comfortable for short runs. The bike is powered by the impressive 800cc V-twin favoured by Ducati. Despite its retro look it comes with many modern enhancements , gadgets and gimmicks. However, the bike is let down by cheap and very poor suspension coupled with poor seating. The rear shock absorber really doesn't absorb anything and has, on several occasions, had me leaving my seat when driving over some of the bumpier, more pot-holed UK roads. The front suspension is a little better but still lacks road feel and can be jarring. A quick look through Scrambler fora and you'll see that most owners have, or will be, changing the suspension and the seat.
I have changed my rear shock and that has helped enormously, I can live with the seat as I have a tourer for those longer rides. The front shock will be replaced sometime soon.
Suspension aside, I like the retro feel, love the sound and it always but always puts a smile on my face. I enjoy riding thing whenever I can.”
