“I first tried a Softail SuperGlide and whilst it was a great ride and looked the business, it failed to excite. Lurking in the back was a Softail Breakout - which was really more than I wantyed to spend, but I test rode it and that was it! from the first tick over and the deep-throated 'cough' it gives immediately prior to ignition, to the sound of the (uprated) Vance and Hines pipes and first 'click' effortlessly into gear, the ride is a pleasure. It is smooth through the gears, extraordinarily well balanced and the amazing 240 rear tyre gives a stability that is hard to beat. I was advised to take corners 'wide and slow', but in reality, it performs with ease round the vast majority of bends and roundabouts. The looks are retro and take you back to Steve McQueen, but the engineering is far from dated. Overall - I'm still smiling and delighted with every aspect of the Breakout (my wife would recommend a slightly more comfortable pillion seat - but still highly recommended for big Cruiser fans!”
“Most comfortable bike I've ever ridden, goes in a straight line whatever speed, good looking, turns heads, one problem ! Every car driver wants to be right behind or alongside on the motorway so they can dream of owning one”
