“Had the HMC Classic 125 for about six months now, to learn on, so I can ride my Triumph Bonneville T100 later in the summer (hopefully). It's a great little bike, very easy to ride, nice gears display on the dial, looks pretty good even against the Triumph. The bike has to work hard to keep up with fast traffic, but I manage it - hate being overtaken by everything, so the Classic scores there. I wouldn't want to ride very long distances on it at top speed, but for fun trips and nipping into town it's perfect.”
“A light bike, like most 125s, pleasing classic looks, and sounds more like a brit bike than most others. Easy to ride, very economical. Ive not had the first service yet, but its due, the only problem ive had... an expected problem, is with the chain going a bit slack. But its an easy fix. the only drawback is the lack of center stand, and this was a bit of an issue when adjust the chain and checking wheel alignment.
This is the first motorcycle i have ridden for over 35 years, and starting as a beginer again, i am so far very pleased with the machine. And once i have passed my test and bought a real brit bike, i will probably keep this machine as back up or just to commute.”
“Bought it for commuting to work, hasn't let me down yet, starts first push of the button every time, disconnected the sidestand switch which is a pain in the arse for an experienced rider like myself.
Have had many admiring looks from the blokes at work, and from a few mates.
One said he liked my new Triumph Herald LOL, so it looks the part, and many thanks to Herald for giving me the army green tank from the 250 model, matches my helmet completely.”
