I find this a really comfortable bike to ride, and nippy for a 125cc. Fuel consumption is good, with around 200 miles to a tank which is £10 if that!! With it being a Honda, there is no issues with reliability. All in all, a very good first bike

Generally the bike is good quality, especially for the price. A bit underpowered but it is a 125. Gearbox works fine but sounds clunky.

Gave 5 stars because you can't down grade it for being what it is a 125 not a 600. Got it for rock bottom price, looks good, good paintwork, needs a fairing and I'll probably get one if I keep it as 2nd bike after gaining full licence.

This is my first bike. I learnt to ride in order to commute to a new job. I anticipated lots of traffic and expensive fuel costs with my car so took my CBT after many many years of thinking about it. I was going to buy a second hand bike but found Doble's of Coulsdon offering £300 off the price of a brand new CB125F and interest free credit. So after going down and taking a look I purchased the bike (at this point I had not yet passed my CBT!) A week later I passed the test and went to pick up the bike. I instantly fell in love with it. Its a nice easy ride, comfortable and responsive. It looks fantastic. I was originally going to chose the blue but opted for the yellow in the end and it does stand out. It's nippy, economical, and fun to ride. I would like a bit more top speed. On the A3 on an incline the bike generally slows to between 55 - 60mph. At top speed on the flat it's topping out at around 65mph. Favourable weather and road conditions can see the bike reach 70... at a push. The gears indicator sometimes goes blank which is not really an issue per say, but if you are a little lacking in confidence and rely on the indicator to tell you what gear you're in, sometimes you can't tell. All in all I am pleased with the CBF as a first bike, however at the first opportunity I will be upgrading my license to get a bigger bike.
