“For a 41 yr old 50cc bike I think it performs brilliant (this Lad ain't little)
I use the 'ped quite a lot on sunny days for shopping, a case of beer fits into the throw-over panniers quite well.
When I park up I get quite a lot of admiring looks and a conversation about the bike is quite often.
Performance wise, OK not the quickest off the mark, we're talking 50cc remember. But cruising speed can be as high as 38 MPH....that's enough to get points on your license....We haven't tried 2 up riding, yes it has a duel seat and rear foot pegs! I think the rear suspension would struggle a little.
On the open road, sometimes I feel a little vulnerable but I try to stay in the 30 / 50 MPH zones local to me.
Fuel economy brilliant 120ish to the gallon
The other bikes in the Garage...
Another Mobylette.
1200 Goldwing
1550 Softail Harley.
Have fun I do.”
