“Great scooter, handling is superb at the cost of a slightly harsh ride but it is adjustable.
Fairly quick off the mark with a varying top speed reported from 50-60 mph.
Petrol consumption is great. The styling is great resembling a Lambretta GP.
Reasonable priced with new 125 models coming out soon.”
“Brought the bike brand new because I liked the look, however it rattled quite a bit on accerating- this was cured by some diy sound proofing with channel rubber - now runs like a dream at 600 miles in, not overly fast but that's ok, all in all I would buy again and it does stand out from the crowd - I have had lots of compliments and a few not so complimentary comments!! I think it will get better with miles and a few mods such as adjustable brake levers and stainless exhaust pipe. I'm happy overall - but you need to be aware that you are buying a scooter that will not be as perfect as a Honda or a Yamaha - but may need a little love!”
“Love the Scomadi. I bought the TL125cc, back in October 2016.
Never had a problem with it , It was the Orange colour which is just a brilliant start, starts and runs perfect . Does what i expected from a standard engine of this size as you are never going to get top speeds from a 125cc . Only thing i have changed is the exhaust to a PM88, which just gives it that bit more MPH and a nice sound . Ok its plastic but then you have no rust to worry about , does tend to scratch easy though ,
Stops on a sixpence due to disc brakes, suspension tad hard but nothing to worry about .
I think regular oil changes ,basic maintenance and you will have a great reliable retro looking scooter. Don't forget its automatic having ridden Lambrettas and Vespas the past 40+ years , never thought i would take to them but how wrong was I . Conclusion is yes I highly recommend the Scomadi, if speed is your thing or motorways etc opt for the 200cc model , but be prepared to pay more than than the 125cc version which can if you need be be powered up by kits now appearing on the market . Be prepared though to forfeit the 2year warranty if you start dappling with unauthorised after market kits and exhausts . Excellent on running costs petrol, mileage etc , some seem to complain about the brightness of the lights but personally i have not had that problem . although again the lighting can be upgraded if needs be .”
“After years of keeping Lambrettas on the road, I still wanted to be on the road but not spend more time in the garage than riding. The Scomadi appeared and is exactly what I wanted (well I wanted the 300cc, but Piaggio pulled out of supplying the engines), it is a four stroke, so no messing at garage forecourts with mixing oil in petrol, it is automatic so no replacing clutch cables/gear cables every 6 months, it doesn't have a speedo cable so no replacing the snapped one of those 6 monthly either, it has hydraulic brakes front and back so stops when I want it to. I have not had any problems at all and the only maintenance I have done (still in warranty and only had to get it serviced), is cleaning it. It looks fantastic and is a conversation starter whenever I park up. Really happy with it. I do not commute so only ride it for fun, so can't really say what it would be like day in day out, or in all weathers.”
“Apart from some basic teething problems the scomadi is a great scooter. Some of the standard parts are poor (headlight bulb, battery, starter cap) once these are replaced the bike is a dream to own”
“This scooter is well worth money spend as with new models there is a apprension but this has gone now a I look forward to riding my scomadi. every chance I get
For a relative new model there are now quite a lot of up grades that can be done to make you model more sporty etc ,as for me I am happy with my scooter
I believe this make and company will go form strength to strength”
