“My sinnis apache is a brilliant model it's never let me down its been reliable since the start always starts first time not a bad word to say about it its my pride and joy to go riding on it on weekends brilliant fun I'd recommend this bike to anyone what a fantastic bike!”
“It's strong engine I've road this bike for just over 1000km and the engine still goes strong. There's a lot against Chinese bikes but they are actually pretty good and can move pretty well, the only problem is that I got the bike with a buckled wheel, they sent an other one and still wasn't true. Apart from that the bike is strong.”
“Firstly, it was cheap, it had great specs. USD forks, disc brakes back and front, led rear brake light etc.
Most importantly, the engine was based on the Suzuki Gn125 (I think), built under licence in China, a good look around the bike and a look at the YouTube reviews showed it to be a very stylish bike considering the low cost.
And, so it proved when it was delivered to my house, mine was in the lesser seen Green, a stunning shade and a head turner for sure!
The Finnish was as good as any UJM I'd EVER had, fit and Finnish was unbelievable again, considering the price.
Everything functioned as it should, electrics never let me down although, some reviews I had read stated that "you should check all electrical connections" apparently some people had had electrical issues, I think some had cut out during rides, it would seem that whoever built the bikes from the crate( Here in the UK I might add) had not done a great job of putting them together?
Problems I have only heard of are/were speedo drives packing up early, something about Cush drives (I think Drum brake models only), none of which I experienced.
Ride wise, it is a great town bike, although not fast (I get about 60 - 70), I am only 5' 7" and although the seat height is something like 890mm, I had no trouble with it, OK I couldn't get both feet flat on the ground but, that doesn't bother me, it is light and steers quickly, having semi off road tyres they do have limitations, these tyres are apparently either made of Nylon or have a high percentage of Nylon in them, they are not so good when new and are never great when riding in the wet - change them as soon as you can!
As I've said, around town it's a great bike, with the long travel suspension, one can bump it up and down kerbs should the need arise to get ahead of or around jammed up traffic, easy to park being so slim and light, I did upgrade the horn as the OE horn was a bit weedy, likewise the headlight bulb, mine being a 2013 bike didn't come with the adjustable front fork damping or the led indicators but, I don't think I miss them.
Finnish is very good, the paint still looks great even though I don't particularly fuss over its cleanliness, the exhaust header goes rusty after one British winter, nothing unusual as all,of my Japanese two Stoke trail bikes did that too.
The spares back up is good, many Suzuki engine parts fit, there are plenty of sources for spares, one being, of course, *bay, a very easy bike to work on.
Consider this, when I had my Ducati 749 and the Sinnis, it was more often than not that the Sinnis would be the bike of choice when I wanted to go out for a ride, if it was to be a town ride or local because it was easier to just jump on that and go, it is a comfortable bike and does a great job as long as you understand its limitation as in, it's not fast so, you wouldn't take it great distances up A roads or even on Motorways.
Ultimately, I can wholeheartedly recommend this bike to anyone, great value for money, as well built and as reliable as any other that I have EVER had, get over the stigma of it being Chinese and, enjoy!”
