“Just the perfect commuter bike and for running around the town, been on a few longer journeys, relaxed and enjoyable too, it's not the fastest bike on the main trunk roads but just need to observe other road users.....
All in all a nice bike just to head out into the country on a fine day.......”
“Great little bike, really suits taller riders. Handles great in traffic and has the feel and comfort of a much bigger bike. Lacks a little in power compared to other 125's. Attracts loads of attention from other riders even some on bigger machines love the look of it. Other Van Van riders are great too, pretty much always get a thumbs up or a nod even in central London rush hour. It's easy to work on and parts are cheap which helps to keep costs down. Great bike couldn't recommend enough.”
“being a 5"3 young woman, travelling 62 miles a day for college, and travelling 300 miles for family, this bike is wonderful for trips long a short. Never loved a bike more. Comfortable, low seat, I have issue bending my leg for the break but hey my leg is an odd shape my 5" mother gets along with it well. It was a very pricy first bike, I do admit, coming in at £1300 off a family member who significantly marked it down, worth every penny. Comfortable, easy ride, easiest ride of any bike I've ridden before, runs beautifully no matter what I put it through.
My father wanted me to mention it's also one of his favourite bikes, this is a 6" man, heavier set, and loves it just like his big beemer. He has done tip to tow of the country on his big bikes, but he would be very happy doing it on this little 125, even if it only goes unto 67 mph (at a push). Lovely for cities (even if it's a little long) and with my friends and my college in the country side, it's managed well everywhere.
Only reason I'm changing this year is I've moved onto a tiny island and can't get the most out of my poor baby, so I'm going onto a smaller, cheap and rubbish bike. Nothing can compare to the van van, every family member has loved it, 3 of us own one.”
“This bike has improved my life. Its my first venture into motorcycling and I love the way it handles and looks. It doesn't look like it's pretending to be a bigger bike and has a classic appeal. My commuting costs have gone from £40 to £10 and I comfortably travel 130 miles a week on it. If you are thinking of a VanVan as your first bike, I'd say do it!”
