“OK, so its not the most powerful litre sports bike on paper, but it really delivers fun on the road. The engine has a lovely spread of torque and I would assume it'll be as bullet proof as previous GSXR lumps, so no concerns on reliability. I personally don't see why you'd need more on UK roads as all modern litre bikes are barking mad at full throttle and the anniversary edition with Yoshi slip on really screams like only a GSXR does. That sound is addictive. Frame, forks, shocks are spot on and provide a lovely balanced feel - rock solid on a straight line or mid corner, even when a slight direction change is required. Remains balanced with a pillion aboard. Controls give plenty feedback and switches feel as if they are built to last. Brembos bring things under control without fuss aided by the ABS. Paint is lush and a match for my Fireblade. Anniversary colours in blue gets plenty admiring looks and it's definitely a keeper. No plans to ever sell.”
