“Bought brand new bike, 5 years warranty, good value on paper. Sym does not have a good distribution chain and the Sym official dealer I bought is lacking professional knowledge and have poor general managing capability. As a result, for a problem with the engine on idle (it was switching off or kept high RPM) plus excessive consumption (15 miles/litre) I had to return the bike for 4 times. Now with replaced carburetor is not perfect but acceptable (does not have linear acceleration around 5000 RPM). Current consumption 17.5 miles/l (expected 21 miles/l) is poor but not enough to return to the garage... ah forgot to mention that after four (4) months I haven't received DVLA papers ! The dealer made initial mistake and did not yet manage to sort-it out.”
