“The Daytona is a really top bike in every respect apart from possibly long distance touring, I actually have two of them and have changed the bars for Renthal on one and Tracstar / Helibars on the other.
The engine is absolutely superb with plenty of low down power and it absolutely flies once the revs get up a bit. It isn't too fast like a 1000 cc machine and is always very managable.
Likewise the gearbox is near perfection as is the handling, brakes and ride.
You get good weather protection too, when it rains.
Shame these sports bikes have gone out of fashion because Triumph honed this bike to near perfection.”
