“Traded a Suzuki GSX-S1000F in for it and had no regrets. I have always ridden a sports tourer prior to the Street Twin and i have enjoyed every minute that i have ridden it. Its nippy around the twisty roads with lots of low end torque, not to great at ripping the miles up on the motorway though ( but who likes riding on the motorway )!
If your thinking of a change i would strongly recommend a test ride, you will be surprised at now nice a ride they really are.”
“I thought my last Bonneville (2010 reg 865cc) was the best bike I'd ever had until I was tempted by the Street Twin...pardon the pun, but it is streets ahead in every respect.
Triumph have clearly put a lot of though into the Street Twin, with great attention to detail.
If you like torque at low revs (which is what interested me), plus a great sound, handling, and very good fuel economy (low 70's mpg) then this is the bike for you.
Oh, and it is very comfortable and looks good, though I'm not sure about silver or red; it has to be black.”
