“I have owned many bikes, the ones which I will feature here are my four ThunderCats, my ThunderAce, my YZF750RR. My R6 is the perfect balance of all of them, with the top end being more fun than the bigger engines and the 600's of the past. The Handling, braking is the best of even the 750. I firmly believe that having spent many years on tracks has benefited my road craft, looking ahead, assess and re-assess decisions, always thank other road users for making room for your safe progress. Never cut in front of any vehicle on the public road. Feel anything the bike tyres are telling you without looking away from where you are going. All that makes for good decisions. My R6 has been repaired recently (written off as a Cat C) from a car pulling out on me. It landed on it's tank, so no damage to the usual areas and not chassis either. I use it daily to get to work on time and home. Now to go and cover it and chain it up.”
