Smashing old bike. Enough power to get in and out of trouble.

bike rides great but heavy machine, for only bandit S 600cc (faired) , I should have bought a newer machine though... 14yr bike is getting on a bit.

Great Little bike , ideal for returning to biking after a long abscence , and particularly useful as it has a full set of matching panniers .A great all rounder with plenty os street cred and well respected for its bullit proof engine , brilliant .

Been riding this bike for over 8 years . If there was something wrong with it i would have dropped it long time ago. Suits me perfectly. Could be a little bit faster and stronger, but can't complain as for 600cc engine it does the job. Fuel consuption could be a bit better, but you want to ride you have to feed the beast. Engine- NO problem at all. Serviced once a year( oil, spark plugs, filters) and seems like it can run for ever. Good for a town and 600mile -long trips ( make sure you have a comfy seat or a pillow). Easy to maintain. a bit heavy fr a begginer, but can get used to it.

I have had my Bandit from new and I love it, the first trip I went on was to Shetland it went like a dream and that has set the stranded for me and the bike has never let me down it just go's and go's. if I had one criticism the exhaust system connector from the down pipes to the back silencer is made of mild steel and rots away, it should be made of stainless steel like the rest of the system.
