“The bike is 90's old tech bike and top heavy, otherwise, easy to do all sort of maintenance.
No major issue on the bike, highly recommended for commuting and also any day to day use.”
“Wanted an all-rounder, but this probably isn't it. It is a sportier model than I should have bought. It doesn't like town work, which is a pity as I live in a town! It is very comfortable for me and my dodgy knees which are not up by my earholes as some expect you to have.
Out in the country is great and reassuring on the road. Some odd noises - I think its the front pads loose in the calliper - will need looking at.
More stable than my BMW in cross-winds which surprised me and pleased me as I live on the coast.
I will keep it for a while but not long term, which is more of a comment on me rather than a very good motorcycle.”
“The bait is a popular choice for training (i learned on one) because of the initial outlay. Logic said it would be a good bike to buy after passing my test. I bought one and rode it for 2500 miles. I moved on to test a few bikes and this quickly exposed what a top heavy and difficult bike the bandit is compared to others.
I now have a V-Strom and its 100% easier to ride and more enjoyable. as is the NC07, Tiger and various others i tried. In short - the bandit is not a good bike.”
