“The 650 Suzuki Bandit is a stable, solid and reliable motorbike. I am the fourth owner and despite its mileage (46,000 miles), it is working like a clock. I use it to commute and occasional long ride outside of London.
The sound of the engine was checked at 44,000 miles and it was perfect. The overall body and non-engine parts are in good condition. Regular maintenance has ensured that of course. However, the 650 bandit is a great bike I have owned for 15 months.
What I like about it is its reliability. The engine will start instantly every morning whether it has been used every day or left to rest for three weeks (holiday!). I did not spend anything on the bike except for the regular maintenance needed. On the downside, although I do not mind at all, is its weight. It is hard to reverse it or put it on the centre stand. However, this is no longer a problem once you know how your bike.
I would recommend this bike to a beginner on large motorbikes or someone returning to biking after a long break.”
“Ideal first 'big bike'. Very reliable and quite inexpensive for what they are. A good all-rounder, I use this bike for commuting to work in city traffic and for long rides in the countryside and it has never let me down.”
“Really smooth, great looking bike. You get a lot of bike for your money, would recommended it to anyone, from someone who is buying their first big bike, to someone who wants a fast, but comfortable ride when they want!”
