“The fastest, best handling bike I have ever ridden it has turned out also to be the easiest bike to ride. I clocked 60k on large BMW's before this and was intimidated initially by its reputation - but it's a real pussy cat - enjoy”
“Done 10,000 trouble free miles 2 up with camping gear. 28,000 on clock now. Does 200 miles to the tank and got 6000 out of a back tyre. Excellent and quick.”
“The best bike ever made. You love them ornate them, but never take for granted. From carousing around throwing third to having a blast on the open road, where permitted, there is absolutely nothing like it. So fast and safe. Not for the inexperienced though. My last bike was a Hayabusa and my next bike will be, yes, a Hayabusa!”
“I have an original 1999 (3000 miles only) and a 2002 Hayabusa. Previously owned a 1999 some years ago and always come back to them. Will do 40mph in top gear or 180, phenomenal torque and power but as docile as you like. Throttle goes both ways! A long bike so plan your entry to bends as tend to run wide. Seat to pegs height won't suit long legs. Notch the sidestand to sit the bike lower when parked as they sit too upright and can fall over! Pre-restricted models better as the engine seems more effortless thru the gears, later ones more revvy. At 100mph on 99 model it seems like 40mph, restricted ones the engine lets you know you're doing it. Toured all over on mine effortlessly. I fit 25mm bar raisers, makes a difference. Love Hayabusa's.”
