“Having had a 2002 Yamaha YZF-R1 for 4 years and it being a truly fantastic but uncomfortable bike in most real world situation I decided upon my next purchase being the GSX 1300RK8 Hayabusa and can confirm that it was all that I expected of it. Great flexible power delivery, great comfort in everyday use, not obviously as track focused as the R1 but has a great turn of speed through corners if your are smooth and fluent in your riding style. Very stable on uneven surfaces (needed in the UK!!) and relatively economical and sensible speeds. Overall very happy with my choice and so far no gremlins!. Does eat rear tyres at a pace if ridden with a heavy right hand but a small price to pay for a great all round missile!”
“Excellent all rounder with loads of power. Does everything I want in a bike. Lots can be done to make it stand out from the rest and make it my own. Parts are cheap and lots can be added to it.”
