“I bought my 52 plate GSX600F 2 years ago with only 3000 miles on the clock. The bike had been off the road for the last 7 years so was practically new. A bargain at £1600 from a dealer. Its a parallel import, with the speedo changed for the UK but everything else (trips and Headlight) for Europe. No problem until its MOT then I masked the light and it sailed through.
I can honestly say I love the bike. It does everything I ask it to , which is mainly a 25 mile commute on twisties and the odd weekend run out (Im 58 now so lifting the front wheel and riding like an arse is off the table these days). I've had several bikes over the years from a Honda Firestorm, ZZR1100, Triumph Trophy, Thundercat and, with the exception of the big Z (which was my baby and broke my heart when it had to go), I rate it up there with any of them”
