Good bike for the money , but the seat is not as good as it should be , the seat keeps you forward against the tank on a run gets uncomfortable , I wish it was like my 2005 bandit whitch had the split seat whitch is far better and was made of better material . I think suzuki could of done a lot better on this problem , I am thinking of changing this bike because of the cheap design on the seat.

Very good bike, does what it says on the tin. Good mid-range and reasonably good top-end, certainly adequate for quite fast road riding. When out with guys on larger cc bikes have to use gear box more but all works well enough. I am quite large guy so this heavy bike responds well when I tip it into bends. Certainly I found handling much better with front and rear preload settings adjusted up to near max. My major gripe is exhaust size and sound, very large & heavy. My mates rib me I have an electric bike due to it being so quiet, when overtaking cyclists they don't know I am there until alongside them. The exhaust could easily and at no extra cost be significantly improved by Suzuki. Also paint wears off pillion grab rail at slightest touch when lifting leg over, etc. Currently considering the 1250 version of same bike, would prefer Honda VFR800 or Kawasaki Z1000SX but the Suzuki is so well priced I think it is the best buy. .
