“hi, these bikes are one of the best ever built with great torquey+bombproof engines. i've owned a few of them in the last 30 years still got a 1990 gsxr1100L from the last 21 years.also own 1997 tl1000 with the 1991 gsxr 1100m slingshot. had new hayabusa 2000-2013. thought i'd best sell as i didnt really want to die yet!. i've not been without a suzuki gsx/gsxr 1100 since 1985 including 1980 gsx1100et , 1988 gsx1100eg, 1992 gsxr1100n, 1990 gsxr1100l, 1991 gsxr1100m, 1989 gsxr1100k, also in early 80's had 1979 gt380/ 1976+1977 gt750's . i like suzuki's!”
“Hi, I bought my bike brand new on New Year's Eve at the launch of the new 91 model year water cooled GSXR's and she has only done 15K. I only bring her out when it is dry and she still looks like new. The ride and handling has never failed to excite me and is as good as new despite being 24 years old. I sometimes go to bike meets or bike nights and it's amusing to park in a line of modern super bikes and italian exotica to see people ignore them and stand looking at my totally standard GSXR. I often get comments like "Iused to have one of those" & "where did you find that in such good condition". I wouldn't swop her for anything and have been offered quite large sums of money for her in the past but the smile she puts on my face can't be bought.”
