My Gixxer is a 2001 model and I get the same excitement every time I get on and ride it. I believe it was money well spent as I have had lots of enjoyment and road trips on it. I bought the bike 5 years ago and believe that if I sold it today, I will have lost no more than £200 in value. Obviously I keep it very clean as it is my pride and joy. Invest in a gixxer - you will never regret it!

Having owned many bikes in my life , I moved to Spain for many years only just returning to the UK , over in Spain I preffered my carbon fibre cycle , returning I saw the Susuki for sale , it was the best colour coordination in my opinion Blue and white., had a load of extras and little mileage , got it for the right money , having never ridden the new style bikes , my last being a boniville 650 , getting onto the Susuki was a new experience , but it didn't take me long to get used to the different riding technique , the gearbox is excellent , power output fantastic , only criticism is the first gear is too low , I just use second gear apart from that it's a great bike , maybe a little thirsty depending on how you ride but the performance and handling can't ne faulted , a great bike !

got the bike in 2003 , if you ride it like your on a race track its great , keep the thing at high rpm and its like a rocket on acid ! stops like youv hit a wall if you need it to . just give it a service every year ,no probs . can still blow most newer 600s into dust .you can get an old gsxr for around £1500 or less now . cheapest way to hit light speed I know of.. if going a long way on one you will have a num ass hands ,but staying alive with all the brain dead car drivers that are about keeps your mind off the pain. its a solo bike ,so leave the woman at home where she should be if you want to get the most out of your toy. .

This bike is hands down one of the best sports bikes I've ever had the pleasure of owning. It is an absolute dream. It is incredibly nimble! It goes around corners like nobodies business and has excellent power delivery. On 600cc sports bikes, it is quite common for a lack of power in the mid range, but with the K4 600, you just wind back the throttle and hear an almighty roar from underneath the tank as it draws the air through and the power is just there instantly. The fuel economy is surprisingly good also. I get about 115 miles out of a full tank (£18 for me to fill up) and I don't potter around town, this bike spends a lot of its road miles at 10,000rpm and above. The brakes are astonishing, stoppies are easy to achieve (not always deliberately!) and it looks fantastic with the USD forks and sharp bodywork. It rides amazingly with a pillion as well. It is not the most comfortable bike, however, it is a sports bike! I can ride for 100-125 miles until I start to notice any aches or pains (But that might just be my body!) Really is miles of smiles and I would highly recommend this bike to any biker out there.
