GSXR 750. Hands down the best sports bike ,ive had 5 of em! Pull like an R1 handles like a 600, unbeatable and cheap to run.

I have a K6 model which I absolutely love, I have previously owned an R1, a K4 and a CBR 600 and I can honestly say the 750 is the best all rounder. Like any sports bike it's not great if doing long distances but an hour or so is manageable. The handling and power is just right for me (average build male), front will lift with enough throttle and little clutch but normally stays down. Love this bike even though it's 10 years old but I am struggling to see anything newer that I like, let's hope there are plenty of spare parts.

Bought mine in 2011. Still own it in 2016 and love it. Comfortable at high speeds but dawdling in traffic is uncomfortable. The handling is brilliant if you keep on top of servicing the suspension. Electrics will suffer if left out in the rain.

K3 2003 I will start off with the dislikes: Exhaust: I Don't like the standard exhaust / silencer as they are heavy and bulky and just does not look very nice, so best to change it to an after market silencer, Pipewerx do some cheap after-market end pipes which can be used with or without power commander or having to have your bike re-tuned. Indicators: Big and bulky looking, get a set of arrow pointy indicators for around £20, I would not recommend getting flush mount indicators as if you are turning right and traffic is coming the opposite way, they simply cant see you indicating. Brake & Clutch levers: Not the best looking of things and very long so get rid of them and get some fully adjustable short lever ones, Once again you can pick up after market (and coloured) to suit your bike online from £16. Likes: The bike feels a good weight and has a nice width to it so feels like a solid bike. Handling: Awesome is all I can say, the handling is fantastic and will suit any ride style, you can cruise gently or give it some real stick and it will put a massive smile on your face every time. You can choose whether to throw it around corners and it will take everything you can throw at it, Make sure you always have a good set of tyres and in good condition as they will make or break you. I use diablo II tyres, the grip is immense. Brakes are pretty good but some people say (the more expert rider) wish they were a bit stronger, so upgrading the hoses to braided is what most people do. (I still use stock brakes and hoses) and feel they are fine. However I'm still not classed and an expert rider) I did have the 600cc version a year ago, although a really good bike, cruising @ motorway speeds is more comfortable on the 750 because on the 600 your on the powerband take off point and it wants to go so feels jerky, but the 750 does not sit on that limit @ 70Mph. Reliability: A tough one for me to tackle as although my bike is 12 years old it has just hit 6000 miles on the clock, Yes you heard right only 6K on a 12 year old!!! (the last owner simply never used the bike so I got a basically new bike) Starting up is never an issue even if it has sat in the garage for a month with the alarm on, starts first time, every time! Speed: ok this is the fun bit, it is smooth all the way on normal riding and you don't even have to hit the higher revs to enjoy the pull on this bike. The power is always there. Hitting the powerband / Higher revs will, how can I say this, pull so fast it will rip your face off! It is so scarily fast when you go into the 7k rpm zone upwards, the bike just becomes an absolute animal of a machine and you will have to hang on for dear life, the pull although mental is smooth all the way up to the red line in every gear. Your really gonna have to watch out that you don't break the speed limit ;-) I dont know what the 0-60 or 0-110+ is but what I can say is, it's warp speed, the bike is so fast you will get to your destination before you leave! Smile factor 10 out of 10 you will be grinning from ear to ear on this bike, it is the nuts in every way. Mine came with a power commander 3 and K&N filters already on it, which makes the performance even more mental than the standard bike already is. The bike is the best of both worlds, you have the handling of a 600 coupled with close to the power of a 1000cc. the 750 leaves a 600 eating your dust and worries the hell out of the 1000cc riders as they find that you can keep up with them and you have better turning than they do. Fairings: I have the blue & White and black at the underneath which I would say are the best colours. Treat the fairings and paintwork with all the care in the world you can as they will scratch so easily, it has absolutely no durability against any knocks or scrapes. I think the chinese fairing imports are better quality and more durable as the stickers and paintwork have a layers of lacquer on top. This is by far the best bike I have ever had the pleasure to own and ride, I love it even more than my wife!
