Perfect balance between the handling & weight of a 600 and power of a 1000 (short of spending twice as much on a new generation litre bike). Brilliant engine and handling. Happy in town, on A roads or motorways where the extra power over a 600 is useful and never seems lacking except when compared to newer litre bikes. No traction control or other fancy tech, not even AND but the Brembo brakes work well. Very reliable and carries on for thousands of miles in all conditions - however the paint finish on the metal tank is thinner than my previous Hondas and Yamahas. Only real complaint is the lack of comfort for long rides but this is a sportsbike issue not the bike's fault and is better than most supersports.

I adore this bike, perfect height, weight and now I have had the suspension adjusted for my diminutive dimensions it is absolutely perfect. It is agile, light, responsive and focussed. Looks beautiful (took the decals off), I can't ever imagine not having her!

I bought this bike as it has the lowest seat height of all the sports bikes, but with a inside leg of 29" it was still a struggle, i have since had the seat lowered and shaped and it has made a very good bike a awesome bike. another downside is the paint work seems really thin. GSXR750 L3
