“Perfect balance between the handling & weight of a 600 and power of a 1000 (short of spending twice as much on a new generation litre bike).
Brilliant engine and handling. Happy in town, on A roads or motorways where the extra power over a 600 is useful and never seems lacking except when compared to newer litre bikes.
No traction control or other fancy tech, not even AND but the Brembo brakes work well.
Very reliable and carries on for thousands of miles in all conditions - however the paint finish on the metal tank is thinner than my previous Hondas and Yamahas.
Only real complaint is the lack of comfort for long rides but this is a sportsbike issue not the bike's fault and is better than most supersports.”
