“i bought my 1992 gixer in 1993 with 2000miles on her, im the second owner and has now covered 24000 miles,granted not many miles over 21 years but still has the original battery
and exhaust, in fact is totally original, apart from tyres and brake pads !!!!
Its never failed to start over all the years and has never failed an MOT.
The riding position is a bit extreme compared to my 2012 blade, but once on its suprisingly comfortable,handling is not the best but has improved with modern tyres, probably needs suspension refresh after 21yrs.
overall an excellent bike thats ageing well and still get admiring glances.”
