This bike is so seriously underated - I call it my Sucati ie Japanese Ducati. The standard suspension setting are 'not good' but having sorted them I will chase anything. It may not ultimately be as fast as some others but it has loads of torque, superb traction and used confidently it will surprise most. I'm a 'B' road specialist and I love this bike; my other bike is a GSXR711 and I don't favour one or the other. I wear BT003 type 3/4's out fairly evenly all the way round on the road so I think I know what I'm doing. Mark at BDS in Peterborough can see how I'm using it and says I should do some trackdays with it - 'it would upset a lot of people'. Overall fit and function are fine, it's been totally reliable and weather protection is good. I'm averaging 38 mpg fast riding 'B' roads. Not much else to say - it does what it's meant to including touring.

Fantastic engine and Just feels like it doesn't want to be taken home! I would just keep building up the miles until the rider breaks. Obvious Suzuki corrosion but that's over shadowed by all pro's.

Love this bike and that's backed up by the fact that it's the one I've owned the longest - over 4 years now! It's very affordable yet quality is good if looked after properly and it's dead easy to work on and fettle with. Personally I think it needs a few minor alterations - get a good suspension set up and decent pair of cans to really appreciate the v-twin sound. Other than that it'll ride all day in relative comfort, has decent underseat storage and is happy being ridden hard or just strolling around. A very below the radar and unappreciated bike, you could do a lot worse.
