“the best thing about the Vl800 is that you can use a plasma cutter ( exhausts ) and a bigger jet to get a very nice rumble from the V twin.
Ride wise its no different from many custom bikes but ! these are light easy to throw about but slightly under powered for my personal taste.
i have had the bike for a good while and its still shines up nice and looks the part.
fit new iridium plugs for a crisp start and low down ride ability.
Don't go by the fuel gauge to much as mine used to say 1/4 full then just die, so i always filled up at 1/2 tank. 130 miles range to the tank full.
all in all a very good bike to start of in the custom world not to much chrome to clean as most parts plastic silver.
