“Had the 2010 model for 3.5 years now and still love it. Extremely reliable, brilliant for long runs with the normal riding position and even though it is a heavy-ish bike (22 litre fuel tank) because of its high ground clearance for a 5' 10" bloke, it handles really well. Nice performance from the v-twin with plenty of torque and good top-end when you need to open it up.
I like the look of the MT09 as a replacement but every time I go out on the Vstrom I dont really want to part with it!”
“my story is a familiar one, grey haired biker, was going to go for a cruiser type bike you know , any way just in time someone reminded me that i like exploring , off the beaten track , so i plumbed for an adventure bike, which gets gets just about anywhere, so comfy and yet consistent ,overall performance is good, after being away from biking for a good many years, this bike is a very good , does what it says on the tin very pleased with it.”
“I love my v-strom comfortable riding position, good view available, very forgiving engine the only downside is that it is a very tall bike so if you are on the short side I can be difficult to mount so a practice sit if you plan on getting one is a must.”
