“Brakes poor. Generally worse build quality than Honda. Electrics gave problems. Very difficult to fill without petrol gushing everywhere. Impossible to buy rear rack or back rest as it's a rare model. One really good point was the driving position - very comfortable. Before long I sold it and bought a Honda Blackbird for about the same price - a vastly superior bike.”
“I love my bike, its easy to ride and comfortable. It's not a bike to go fast on but then when i'm out on it i just like to cruise along at a steady speed. The other thing it's good for is add on's, i've fitted a fly screen engine crash bars and a sissy bar and i do think that they enhance the look of what is already a good looking bike. This bike is great on A and B roads but is capable of eating up the miles on motorways, This bike is easy to live with just keep up to date with servicing and you'll have no problems with it. M.P.G is not as high as more modern bikes but that's down to having carbs and not being fuel injected but it's still pretty good. I used to have a Daytona 955i and swopped it for the Adventurer, best decision i ever made.”
