“Very comfortable ride. All controls are very easy to use. It looks great and the panniers are very useful. It is a cruiser so not super quick but more than adequate acceleration for normal road riding. A bit heavy handling at slow speed especially when the summer screen is fitted. Very good for carrying a pillion as that seat is very comfortable too. I fitted aftermarket pipes which make it sound better too. I have used it for commuting to work (40 miles per day) for the past 15 months too and it copes very well with that too.”
“I've had 5 GXR'S from 600cc - 1000cc and a Bandit 1250S over the last 15yrs. My Triumph needed a completely new riding style, from engine size and performance to CoG and handling. It was a lot easier than expected and the bike performed flawlessly on a 2 up holiday to France with the wife last year. Only niggle is that a fuel gauge would have been perfect as standard fit (there's room on the tank cluster for one!).”
