Has taken a while getting used to forward controls, but now love them and the position. I find it more comfortable than I thought it would be, and having short arms have fitted extensions to bring the bars back 2" again making it more comfortable. Mine is a 2007 (carb), I've stripped it down taking off the back seat, screen, saddle bags and sissy bar & rack. That added up to a surprising amount of weight, and has made a great deal of difference to the handling etc . It's all those little tweaks that have made summer riding so much better. I would recommend this bike to anyone, I was seriously looking at a Harley 883 or 1200 sportster, but found the riding position uncomfortable in comparison. Any year of this bike is a good buy, go for it.

Overall a good solid bike, I guess it's just a bonneville with a slightly different set of fender and such, but Triumphs are quite good overall, a different experience to a Japanese made bike, but nice as well.
