Very happy with it, nearly went for a gsxr750 as I've owned a few before and wasn't sure about the three cylinder, but glad I went for the Daytona. When I had the 12000 mile service I was given a new R6 for the day. A nice bike but no power low end and under 10k rpm (hit 10k then it when well). The Dayton has much better low end power/torque, is smoother and you don't have to rev as hard to get better acceleration. It's my first Triumph and after years of Japanese bikes I much prefur it.

It's just the best bike: beautiful (to my eyes at least), power at any RPM, and an orchestra that even Hans Zimmer would be proud of. Being nice and slim too makes it a dream around London, but she still handles like a dream on the country roads. I can't fault her. Love it.

Bought nearly new (with 280 miles on clock) in 2010 and loved it. Suspension was always a bit harsh, so had forks revalved and got Nitron NTR3 Shock earlier this year(2017) and is even better. If there was another bike I fancied I would buy it, but there isn't!
