Big bike for a 900 , but owned it 10years or so and still ride`s exactly the same as the day I bought it. It`s never missed a beat or let me down in any way at all. Doesn`t keep up with todays bikes , but I`d rather people see it than miss it.

I'VE CHOPPED MY 1996 900 DAYTONA INTO A SINGLE SEAT STREET FIGHTER/ BOBBED/CUSTOM, STAGE ONE TUNE WITH K&N FILTERS ON, NEXT IS A STAGE TWO AS DIFFERENT EXHAUSTS & NEEDS SETTING UP SO LOT OF THIS DOSENT COUNT. I WANT A CUSTOM WITH GOOD HANDLING, BRAKES & POWER, PLUS SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND AS I'VE NEVER HAD ATRIPLE 4 STROKE I FELKL IN LOVE WITH THE ENGINES CHARACTERISTICS. I INTEND IT AS AN ONGOING PROJECT THAT IS SLOWLY MORPHING INTO THE BIKE I WANT. SHE IS MAT BLACK WITH NO FAIRING AT ALL, (FAIRINGS ARE FOR GIRLS TO HIDE BEHIND),AS IS ALL ENGINE AS STANDARD, DONT LIKE MUCH SHINEY SHIT! I HOPE TO HAVE THE ENGINE OUT NEXT YEAR TO BE BORED AS BIG AS SHE'LL ALLOW WITH ENGINE ALTERATIOND FOR MORE POWER LOAD FOR FUTURE PLANS (compact turbo or super charger if I can afford a cruiser as well), TUNED & re-mat blacked as I will hope to have made the bike even more Rottweiler cut/ugly by then also. Sorry about caps to start but can't be arsed to re-type it all! ;) :P

OK so she is an old girl now, but have owned the bike for years and just love the looks and sound of it. In a stunning red colour, and always gets comments from other bike riders of how nice it looks. Admittedly it is not as fast or light as the modern bikes, but can still go round the bends well and crack on to well over the ton, with two up!! A lovely soon to be classic bike, that you don't see to many of. Will still be riding this in another twenty years!!!
