Awesome bike a bit on the heavy side when in slow traffic.

By far.. The best bike I have ever owned... After moving from sports bikes to a cruiser I found the 1100 dragster lacking... Then bought a Rocket and it lives up to its name.. Comfort, street presence and all the power you could possibly need..

Every motorcycle rider should have a go on a Triumph Rocket , it is a proper grin machine , torque , torque and more torque , and a cruiser , and a British bike , breaking all the rules and doing it with power to spare and individual style . It is a heavy bike , and needs handling with respect at all speeds .The Rocket offers great value for money against some other cruisers from big manufacturers with great build quality ,great range of accesories , and fantastic Triumph dealers ,who although my bike is older than most are very helpful and went out of the way to sort an age related issue . Perfect ,thanks .

Not your typical bike, almost needs to be driven rather than ridden but once you get used to it very rewarding. Every twist of the throttle makes you smile. I changed the footrests for the roadster ones which moved them back about 4 inches and put hagon shocks on the rear. Both mods highly recommend for better control. Down side is you do notice the weigh and size in traffic, especially two up. Tank is also a little smaller than it looks and with the big engine range is a little short. Overall a fantastic machine.
