Owned for about a year , great to ride and a lovely sound with the arrow exhausts, though could not get on with high seat height and quite heavy to throw about,

Very good all rounder. Mirrors could be better. Clutch could be lighter.

I feel in the right hands this bike could do anything (barring off road of course), be it happy filtering slow through traffic, about town, motorways or the fun twisty B roads. The nature of the bike is that of a naked sports bike and even though the seat is very comfy and extensive engine range for all kinds of road scenarios the lack of screen and slight aggressive riding position does mean very long trip comfort would depend on your height and arm length (but that goes without saying with this kind of bike, you buy the type of bike for your desired riding style and likely road types and durations). I traded my Street Triple in for a Speed Triple as I found the Street was disconcertingly light and too agile for my riding style or abilities. The speed feels more grounded, possibly due to the greater mass. It hugs the road better which built my confidence and therefore riding ability. It gave me confidence to take corners more aggressively with less fear. However, it is not as agile as the Street conversely, it's all about what you want the bike to do and what you can do with the bike confidently. The range on the engine is amazing, it does not feel unhappy at low speeds (like the Street did) i.e. about town/urban areas.......and yet it is happy mixing it up across 30-60 in the twisty A and B roads and capable on motorways also at constant speeds. I have obtained over 200 miles on a tank. I would suggest though that the Tiger Sport can not all that the Speed can do and more in terms of comfort and range, where as the Speed is more suited to better weather conditions and Sunday blasts. Saying that, the Speed has a good seating position and nice wide bars compared to alot of sports tourers on the market and so if you want something that will allow you to hug the tank and have fun on a track day and keep up with the best and yet also happily do daily commutes with little discomfort ( nd look pretty damn cool doing so), Then the Speed is a great bike.
