“This bike is the ideal mid range bike. The short journeys and the not so short journeys, are eaten up with smiles and great satisfaction, I'm used to riding larger sports bikes , and thought I would miss the power etc , but triumph makes you forget all that , for 90/out of100' the bike more than fits the bill long live the street triple”
“I've had the bike from new in 2008, done 21,500 miles on it and it still puts a smile every time i go out on out on it .Handles like it's on rails, pulls like a train and sounds awesome!!!...”
“Bought this bike off my son who bought a new Daytona 675 so knew a bit about it.
What a difference from my older CBF600n. Much lighter, better acceleration, excellent road holding, sharper braking and a real hoot to ride.
The only problem I had was going from a carb'ed to an injected fuel system. The carb system on the Honda was much smoother to handle at low RPM when in a high gear where as the injected system was a bit jerky so requiring lower gear selection.
The build quality is excellent with no discernable problems but if you want a centre stand and a belly pan then the pan has to modified.
Having bought this bike at the trade in offer I am well pleased.
Now being in my late 60's this bike puts a big smile on my face every time I ride it.
For a mid range motorbike the Street Triple is a great machine and well worth considering.”
“Sorry bit strictly come dancing but it is in season. Describing in one word to A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Love the bike it is a pleasures to ride. Could go on forever with positives but that one word says it all. If your looking at getting one do it you won't regret it.”
“Having previously been on R1's and Fireblades I expected to be disappointed with the difference in power. I only downgraded for reason of comfort and to keep speeds the right side of a ban! I would describe the street triple as a 125 on steroids. Feels so small, nimble and unassuming but never fails to put a smile on your face. The most fun bike for UK roads and well ridden will keep up with most. Personally I wish I had gone for the R model as the only criticism is the brakes. Good but not great. Handling. It's perfect for English roads. Fuel economy is good 40mpg on the road. Whilst I'm delighted with the Striple, I still miss a sport bike for the shorter full calorie rides, so bought one of those also. Won't be getting rid of the Street Triple, it's just too much fun and so comfortable.”
