“I suppose there is no such thing as an "all-rounder" when it comes to bikes but when it comes to the triumph thunderbird sport it ticks all my boxes.Ok ! it's no knee down track superstar but it handles corners at speed beautifully with a little work from the pilot for a top heavy machine (lets face it who wants their bike to take all the glory).No !it's not going to cope with any serious off-road challenges (it's pretty heavy at around 220kg) but it handles pot-holed british roads better than most american hogs or japanese missiles.This triple powered beauty(82bhp) with its reto-ish looks straddles the line of Triumphs heritage and its modern engineering,well modern in 1998 to 2004,mines a 2000 model in the best colours ,tangerine and opal white obviously!”
