“Bought a brand new 'old' Tiger in November just pre the launch of the bells & whistles new Tigers... As an old Triumph/BSA man I bought a new Bonneville A3 in March but also wanted more of a tourer ...but not one too heavy...hence the Tiger. It does everything I want it to on the road and feels solid as a rock... The bikes riding position is excellent for me and the engine just seems eager for the off on some long trip to wherever! I'm not able to say how it compares to the new Tigers but I'm not feeling I missed out on the new innovations... partic as I got mine at a good price with extras. Only beef is the useless screen for my height...(6ft and reasonably proportioned)... I had the adjustable screen thrown into the deal but regardless of position its just too low and although I don't get buffeting the wind noise is horrendous at anything over 50mph despite my Shuberth S2 helmet. I have to source a better screen but other than that I love the Tiger!”
