“Its over 30 years since I last owned a bike. Things have moved on considerably since then. I was quite uncertain what a mere 50cc machine might be capable of, however my scepticism was thoroughly unwarranted. On the flat my LX50 does slightly more than 40mph. Its light, nippy and looks cool. With a front disc brake it stops quickly too. I use mine for quick trips into town or to my local beach. It gets lots of admiring glances wherever I park it. It is after all a VESPA!”
