“Although it's one of the bigger scooters around, it's still suitable for nipping around town on a daily commute. It's extremely comfortable, too, so long journeys are fine (I've done upwards of 300 miles in a single journey, stopping only for fuel, and didn't suffer at all).
The 498 cc engine is very responsive at all speeds -- it rips away from the lights as fast as most motorbikes, and still delivers if you need to open the throttle at 70 to overtake a dithering muppet.
Handling at slower speeds can be a little heavy, unsurprisingly, but that also lends it stability in windy and wet conditions. Aside from the points it loses visually (having two wheels at the front is never going to be cool, frankly) this is a fantastic all-round scooter and, after 14 months using it almost every day, I absolutely love it and will only trade up to a 'real' motorbike.”
