“The K1200r is a beast. It will pull your arms off if you are too aggressive with the throttle and the roar of the engines induction will have you constantly teasing it. With the little screen it will allow you to tour for most of the day but the upright riding position makes it a bit too noisy at constant motorway speeds. The long wheelbase will call for carefully planned turns but can be quite rewarding when you get them right. Over all the Bike is more than capable in most areas and the newer k1300r can only be better but the Icing on the cake is its shear beauty. I can see why it get used in movies (Res Evil , Bangkok dangerous ect )”
