“Great bike to ride below 60mph, above this speed wind vortex around the body is huge, screen does not keep the wind off the face and shoulders hence making wind noise huge and defending. Ride adjustments excellent, mpg excellent, headlamp brightness excellent, lovely handling. Comfort on seat good. Fuel strip constant failure, abs not working.”
“Fast but not furious, just gets on with it, you can ride at 140 mph for an hour and feel no pain what so ever or you can scratch around for hours enjoying the rush. Not much will pass you if you dont want it to only a better rider !! Very stable and with good tyres will scrap pegs no probs.Usual BMW quality and refinements, changed to this from an RSV as i wanted to slow down a little so got a sports tourer and never looked back.”
“Had a zzr1400 before and wish id bought another...k1200s is a bit buzzy, without aftermarket parts the idling hunts and its almost impossible to keep a constant 30mph..
That said its been pretty much bombproof in 20k miles, only a rear disc needed...and of course no chain maintenance required.
Its OK...it just doesnt excite....”
