I bought my first FJR in 2003 after riding both the ''wee Divvy'' and then the ''big Divvy''. 600 and 900 Diversions to the uninitiated. The FJR was the logical move. My wife and I toured that Europe for several years on it, it went like shit off a shovel, could go round corners like it was on rails, would scare the livin' bejesus out of sports bike riders, never let me down, did nearly 80,000 miles in 7 years and only ever needed a fork seal for an MOT. What's not to like? We came to a parting of the ways courtesy of an oversight by the highways authority, they forgot to put a load of tar in a pot hole. I had a dalliance with Triumphs which the terms of the court order prevent me describing on a public forum. I have bought an other FJR which I think is the dogs dangly bits and am once again a happy biker.
