“23 years ago I bought one new (after my wife decided she was not going touring on the FJ1200 again!) and had a great 18 months for weekend runs and two tours around France one up. It was fast enough and 200 miles range was easy without discomfort. After a 20 year bike break I bought another one. OK, there was the rose tint going on initially, but it really is as before i.e. a joy. The styling was/is spot on - slightly aggressive - being better than the later YZF Thundercat. Mine is one of the last 600R's, almost pristine and most folk think it's new! It is a classic in waiting that I think is going to appreciate in the coming few years.”
