“It's a bit like wrestling a wild bear at times, handle bars are a bit low for me making it difficult to do life savers over your shoulders. Takes a while to master the gearbox and quick shift at low revs etc. But excellent over half throttle. Side stand is poor and can flick up without you noticing so you could drop the bike ! Hard to maneuver say doing a u turn as handle bars become stiff when stationary with non conventional front suspension.
But it is great if you grab a hand full of front brake as the nose won't dive.”
“I had the K1200S which was great but the K1300S is even better. Only one niggling little problem. It still "clunks" when engaging first gear. Otherwise I am very happy I bought it and won't be selling it until I pop my clogs.”

“A stunning bike, mechanically excellent, cosmetically flawed, with tarnished fixings and the front legs and rear drive unit having to be replaced after 6 months from new, due to corrosion. It would be good value for money if it didn't corrode so easily, sadly I don't trust it not to corrode again so I have bought an old hack for the next winter.”
