“What can I say apart form how lucky I am to have one of these rare beasties. Ok there is a number of things you can moan about. It was supposed to be a sports tourer but has a few things against it. Tank range is only fair, It only has 5 gears, Comfort OK. BUT the ride with the single sided front end is just a joy. Whatever you do it behaves the same why this piece of radical tech never found itself as the standard I'll never know. I also have a VFR and often think the VFR with the GTS front end would be the perfect bike.”
“This is a totally unique bike in that it is a 1993 model and was imported from Holland new by The Bike Shop Faversham, who kept it until 2014, it was then sold to a guy in Scotland over the phone who never rode it and I bought it in November 2015 with only 4 Km's on the clock. It looks like it has just come out the box, as new.
It' was years ahead of its time with fuel injection and a a catalyst. This is the only Non ABS model in the UK. It was Yamaha's version of the BMW fork less concept, which proved too expensive to manufacture. So was only made in very limited numbers for approximately three years. Only Fifteen ABS models in the UK.”
