“Best bike in the world.
Handles beautifully, nice and slim, low centre of gravity and really light.
Oodles of torque whenever you want it. Stops nice 'n quick.
Could do with a 6th gear for me, but thats not really the spirit of the bike.
Solid - built for offroad - gearbox.
Gets through rear tyres pretty quick, but thats cos its awesome.”
“There's nothing else really like the MT-03. It's not a supermoto or trailie, an adventure bike or a tourer. Though perversely it might be quite a good choice for a round-the-world trip - it's a comfortable place to sit and it's serviceable without any fancy electronic diagnostics or special tools. For me it's just the perfect runabout, with enough performance to keep up with motorway traffic if the need arises. But it's happiest exploring country roads, the twistier the better, and it'll easily cope with unmetalled tracks (tyres permitting) if you feel like being a bit more adventurous.”
“Low seat for smaller riders, but pegs fairly high, so Knees very cramped.
Very unreliable, had me stuck 20 miles from home after water affected electrics.”
“Having ridden a DR-400, an ER-6 and a GSX-F the mt03 while not being the fastest or smoothest of these, is the most fun to ride. Got to love the torque of that thumping single. Great city commuter.”
“Fantastic bike for money, you get a grin every time you ride it. Only down side is top end speed but did not buy it to be a super bike. Had loads of bikes in my time and this is the only one I have had twice. Been to France and Switzerland fully loaded on it.”
