It's an all rounder B mode nice and slow. Standard mode in and around town and lose control. A mode well if you had and argument with the wife or girlfriend put the bike in A mode and your see how quick you get a Smile again. Traction control is amazing gives you that added support because your need it

Generally the bike is obviously built to a budget and you get what you pay for. Bad points: 1) The suspension front and rear requires upgrading for sporty riding. It does not give confidence in the corners. 2) I would be happier if Yamaha had used the Tracer switchgear on the bars as the mode button, the horn and indicators are too small and flimsy for gloved use. 3) The mirrors need to be extended outwards by at least 40mm to avoid viewing your elbows. 4) The speedo/rev counter is badly placed and can be obscured by some tank bags. Moving more central and forward would help but then it compromises the ignition lock. 5) The fuel tank is woefully small. 6) The fuelling is crap even after remapping to the Tracer map the bike is still difficult to achieve a smooth throttle response even in standard and B mode. In A mode the response can be lethal if great care is not taken when powering out of corners and even when ridden at slow speed. It needs someone to do a proper re map as they have apparently done in the States. Yamaha thinks this is all hunky dory but it isn't. 7) The seat is not very comfy (neither is the optional 'comfort' seat by all accounts) and the seat makes you feel that you are continually sliding towards the fuel tank. Its also pretty hopeless for a pillion. Good Points: 1) The bike is very light and the seat height is relatively low which suits me. 2) The engine would be beautiful but for the snatchy throttle response. There is so much power and torque to be had.

Love the bike and always look forward to riding it. Have had an issue with the front disc breaks as the became warped. The were replaced free of charge. Seat can be a little uncomfortable on a distance ride I like the weight of the bike, nice and light and easy to push around the garage.
